Welcome to Broke in Bristol – the blog that helps you save money, make money and live life to the full on a budget. I’m Ms Broke in Bristol and I’ve stumbled upon six free events that celebrate Bonfire Night this week!
Victoria Park, 5 Nov. 6pm
There won’t be any ‘official’ fireworks, but there will be a blooming big bonfire, hot dog stall and a bar! The fire will be lit at 6:30pm this Saturday – see you there.
Riverside Inn, Saltford. 5 Nov. 6.30pm
This year’s event will be free to enter as organisers hope to raise money for charity. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, fireworks start at 7.30pm.
Bristol Barbarians Rugby Club, Whitchurch. 5 Nov. 6.30pm
If you’re in Whitchurch, get on down to the rugby club for fireworks, food and drink and treats for the little ones.
Barton Hill RFC Fireworks. 5 Nov. 6.00pm
Gates open at 6pm for this free fireworks event at Barton Hill but organisers are asking for donations to help keep the event free. Fireworks from 7:30pm.
Trinity Centre, 6 Nov. 6.00pm
The Trinity Centre in Old Market is hosting its yearly fireworks party with live music thrown in! Hotsteppas and 2 Kings will be playing from 6pm and although it’s free, try and pick up a flyer as this doubles as a ticket. Organisers are also asking for a suggested donation of £2.
Bradley Stoke Fireworks Display, 6 Nov. 4.30pm
If you live in or around Bradley Stoke, check out the free community firework display at Bradley Stoke’s Jubilee Centre on 6 Nov. If you can, please spare some change for the Mayor’s charities.
That’s it for this week folks but don’t forget to like our Facebook page, so that you can be the first to know about the best local events and deals!
