Avon Valley's Drive Thru Mini Safari will be opening to the general public tomorrow (June 30) and will be music to the ears of families with young kids.
The adventure park has had to make some changes to be able to reopen safely after lockdown but they've adapted and this week you'll be able to discover a fun-filled, family adventure from the comfort of your own car for just £3.50 per vehicle!
You'll be able to drive through the park and see animals including favourites like Jules & Merlin while listening to an audio guide which will lead you around the route with fun interesting facts to enhance your visit.
This good news follows the reopening of Wild Place Project on Friday 19 June 2020, with a new timed ticket system – many of Bristol's attractions are taking a phased approach to reopening and Bristol Zoo Gardens will be following at a later date.
Things will look slightly different for a while but it's hoped that plenty of places will be open in time for the Bristol school summer holidays which start on July 21. I'll be posting a blog on free and cheap things to do closer to the date. In the meantime tell me your favourite places to go with the kids by leaving a comment - Broke in Bristol – & beyond is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. More from this author:
